Americans for Tax Reform is a non-partisan coalition of taxpayers and taxpayer groups who oppose all tax increases.  Key votes included extending the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts, repeal of the Alternative Minimum Tax and many others.

The American Shareholders Association was founded in 2001 to represent the interests of the majority of adults and two-thirds of voters who own shares of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETF’s.  Whether they hold these shares in taxable brokerage accounts or tax-advantaged vehicles like IRAs and 401(k)s, they have a direct interest in preventing the government from enacting policies that will shrink shareholder wealth.

Alliance for Worker Freedom is dedicated to the protection of workers rights.  For the first session of the 110th Congress, the Guardian of Worker Freedom award was given to Representatives who voted for freedom and opportunity for workers against special interest and regulatory control.

(6/08) Gun Owners of America Award
GOA was founded in 1975 by Sen. H.L. (Bill) Richardson (now retired). Richardson continues to serve as the Chairman of Gun Owners of America, bringing his many years of political experience to the leadership of GOA. Richardson is also an avid hunter and outdoorsman.  From state legislatures and city councils to the United States Congress and the White House, GOA represents the views of gun owners whenever their rights are threatened.

Mission Statement:  ACU tracks a wide range of issues before the Congress in three general categories:  economic and budget matters, social and cultural issues and issues related to national defense and foreign policy.  The objective is to provide a balanced, comprehensive picture of each member of congress’s ideological predisposition based upon recorded votes.

Mission Statement:  U.S.ENGLISH, Inc. is the nation's oldest, largest citizens' action group dedicated to preserving the unifying role of the English language in the United States. Founded in 1983 by the late Senator S.I. Hayakawa, an immigrant himself, U.S. English now has 1.8 million members nationwide.

Mission Statement:  Family Research Council (FRC) was founded in 1983 as an organization dedicated to the promotion of marriage and family and the sanctity of human life in national policy.
